This refreshing sparkler shines a pink coral color with fresh, vivid aromas of crisp strawberries, red berries and citrus. On the palate, the soft red fruit flavors are rich and mouth-filling yet retain elegance throughout the enjoyable finish.

Vineyard Notes

Our Brut Rosé is sourced from the Los Carneros region of Sonoma. Although split politically by Napa and Sonoma Counties, the climate across Carneros is reasonably contiguous. The cool and windy climate in Carneros generally has more in common within the AVA than the climates further north in their respective valleys.

The cool afternoon breezes and morning fog means it rarely gets above 80°F, paving the way for elegant wines with refreshing acidity and the potential for cellaring.

Vintage Notes

The 2020 vintage in Sonoma County was remarkably challenging due to the novel coronavirus pandemic and what seemed like an endless loop of devastating fires.

Sonoma experienced low rainfall in early 2020, setting the regions up for a low-yielding season. Not only did this translate to concentrated, high-quality fruit, but it led to our teams harvesting early, escaping the devastation of the fires.

Overall, the 2020 growing season was notable for its challenging spring weather, mild summer and drought conditions that ultimately produced great wines with a great story.
