Tasting Notes
Our 2022 Rosé is light pink in the glass with delicate notes of fresh strawberry, rhubarb, rose petal and peach aromas. The palate is laced with juicy watermelon notes, apricot, and notes of fresh cut grass. The finish is long and refreshingly crisp. The gentle hue of this Rosé was achieved by allowing Pinot Noir grapes to remain in contact with the juice ever so briefly—just long enough to garner a delicate blush, and classic Pinot Noir structure and character.

Vineyard Notes
Sourced from Bella Sonoma Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast appellation, this high-quality vineyard produces fruit of exceptional quality, and unique character that lends to a well-structured and elegant Rosé of Pinot Noir

Vintage Notes
The 2022 growing season was mostly consistent and mild, resulting in healthy canopies. Signs pointed to an early harvest until Labor Day, when temperatures reached 110° Fahrenheit inland and higher than average on the Sonoma Coast, pushing some blocks into high sugars quickening the harvest pace. Despite the heat wave, our Pinot Noir for this wine was picked in great shape with just the right acid balance.

Winemaker Notes
We produce our Rosé by destemming and crushing lower-maturity red grapes, allowing them to sit on skins for 48 hours, followed by carefully pressing the lightly colored grape juice before fermentation. This yielded a complex yet elegant wine, with plenty of bright red and ethereal substance, which was bottled after fermenting and aging sur lies for four months in stainless steel tanks.
