Tasting Notes
Opulent in the glass, this wine opens up with dark cherry and briar patch aromas. The palate is bright, with flavors of tobacco and black pepper. It's robust structure is complemented with firm tannins carrying through a lingering finish.

Vineyard Notes
Deep into the Northwest Healdsburg realm of the Russian River Valley perched on a sunny hill top entrenched in sedimentary soils, this is by far our warmest vineyard, planted with the most exotic Pinot Noir clone, Calera, and late ripening Dijon 828.

Vintage Notes
Late spring rains gave way to initially a very warm and shortlived beginning of summer. Overall mild summer temps provided a long growing season for premium ripening and a late start to harvest.
