Vineyard Notes
Salmon Creek Block sits at the lower elevation of our Balistreri Vineyard in Freestone. It is three miles inland from the Pacific Ocean and is adjacent to the Salmon Creek. This area is fast proving to be one of the finest growing regions in the world for producing wines that are truly Burgundian in character but possessing the depth of complexity that makes west Sonoma County so special.
Vintage Notes
2016 was another near perfect growing season with idyllic weather throughout the year. Harvest was a bit earlier than usual, with balanced yields of high-quality fruit marked by complex aromatics and flavors. Another stellar vintage for the Sonoma Coast!
Winemaker Notes
This vineyard block selection from Balistreri Vineyard is planted to Dijon 115, 667 and 777 Clones, plus the Pommard 1 Clone of Pinot Noir. This kind of clonal diversity in one vineyard block becomes a wonderful “blending tool” for our winemakers, allowing for a broad palette of flavors, textures and aromas to be expressed in the finished wine.

Holiday Shipping Deadlines 2018
Dates listed below allow for a first delivery attempt with standard ground shipping prior to the holiday listed. Expedited shipping also available in most states.
Shipping Times
The delivery carrier (UPS or FedEx) will make up to 3 delivery attempts, requiring an adult 21 years or older to sign for the package. You can expect your delivery in a few days, so please use an address where someone over 21 will be present to sign.
Ground Shipping
Depending upon your state, delivery is 3-14 business days from leaving our warehouse. All custom labeled wine orders ypically take up to two to three business days to process.
